Baby news for Selena Gomez: She’s going to be a big sister! On Sunday, May 12, the “Come and Get It” singer celebrated Mother’s Day with a sweet Twitpic with her mom, Mandy Teefey. In the black-and-white snapshot, the pretty (and strikingly similar looking) mother and daughter smile for the cameras, with Selena holding her mother’s unmistakeable baby bump.

“Hope all the amazing moms had a great day!” wrote Selena. “I have the best momma in the world ) I love you so much!”

It will be the second child for Mandy, who divorced Selena’s father, Ricardo Gomez, when the future star was five-years-old. Mandy wed Brian Teefey in 2006.

Gomez spoke to Glamour magazine back in November about her childhood in Texas — and being raised by a single mom. “I definitely didn’t appreciate [my upbringing] when I was little. I was frustrated that my parents weren’t together and never saw the light at the end of the tunnel where my mom was working hard to provide a better life for me,” she said.

Praising her mother, she added: “It’s because of [my mom] that I can do things on my own.”

(April 15, 2013) – World-wide, multi-platinum-selling singer and actress Selena Gomez announced today that she will embark on a 56-city world tour in support of her highly anticipated summer album. The tour will begin August 14 in Vancouver, BC, and will hit major U.S. markets including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston and more (see full listing below). Tickets for select cities of the tour will be available in a presale on April 17 at 10 a.m. local time and on sale to the general public on April 20 at Ticketmaster.com. VIP packages will also be available April 17 at 10 a.m.

“I couldn’t be more excited to tour again but this time around the world,” said Selena. “This has been such an interesting few months. My music has grown and I want my fans to see a new side of me. Can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”

Selena fans have been in a frenzy since she premiered the single “Come & Get It” from her forthcoming album and made her debut television performance of the song last night live on the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. The single is available now everywhere. Selena’s upcoming TV blitz will also include an April 16 appearance as a guest and performer on Ellen and a performance on Dancing With The Stars that night, as well as an April 24 appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. She is also creating buzz this month as she adorns the April cover of Harper’s Bazaar. Selena has also been nominated for and will perform at the Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27.

As an artist, Selena has already sold more than 10 million singles in the U.S., along with three RIAA-certified top-ten debuting gold albums, and three #1 Billboard Dance Singles. Her last album, When The Sun Goes Down with Selena Gomez & The Scene was released June 28, 2011 and was certified gold in November of that year.

Selena Gomez has just joined William H. Macy‘s new project, Rudderless, Deadline reports.

The project is a musical drama about a grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his recently deceased son’s demo tapes and lyrics. Shocked by the discovery of this unknown talent, he forms a band in the hope of finding some catharsis.

William co-wrote the script and will direct and star in the project alongside wife actress Felicity Huffman, Anton Yelchin, Laurence Fishburne, and Billy Crudup. Filming is set to begin this month in Oklahoma.

While she might have to wait until next year to find out if her work in “Spring Breakers” is Golden Popcorn-worthy, Selena Gomez will be on hand for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards to perform her new single “Come & Get It” live on Sunday, April 14.

“It is my first performance back as a musician,” she told MTV News about the Movie Awards gig. “I’m so nervous! I think it’s really cool, ’cause I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people, so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards. So I thought it would be appropriate. I’m so stoked!”

The tune was penned by Ester Dean and Stargate, who also produced the track, and will debut April 8 on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” just days before she takes the stage at the Movie Awards.

“This is the hardest I’ve ever worked on any album I’ve ever done. I recorded about 23 songs, and I picked 11. So we put all the album together, and I really wanted it to be a different level for me,” she said. “So I think for the performance, I’m going to try to do things that nobody’s ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I’ll do a good job.”

“Come & Get It” is the lead single from Gomez’s next album, slated for release later this summer. Gomez is also expected to make a tour announcement in the near future.

Ahead of the awards show, the third annual MTV Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week will run April 8 through April 12, with a special airing every night at 11 p.m. ET on MTV. This year’s movies are “This Is the End,” “Pain and Gain,” “To Do List” and “The Heat,” and the films’ stars will be on hand to present an on-air clip before heading to MTV.com for a 30-minute sit-down interview with MTV News’ Josh Horowitz.

It all leads up to the Rebel Wilson-hosted MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 14, airing live from the Sony Pictures Studio Lot in Culver City, California, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Get excited, Selenators: Your girl’s got new music on the way!

Selena Gomez tweeted Wednesday about her latest venture, writing, “[Who's] ready for an album? All the songs have been decided coming to you soon.”

Between 2011 and 2012, Selena and her band, The Scene, released three studio albums. In February 2012, she parted ways—temporarily—with the band, explaining that “this year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever.”

“We will be back,” she wrote. “But it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys.”

Aw. Well, we’re certainly looking forward to this new album. Selena told MTV News last month that Taylor Swift (!) and Skrillex are her fourth album’s two biggest influences.

Maybe there really is “Nothing Like” them? Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have sparked reunion rumors after they were spotted together over the weekend.

The duo reportedly attended the showcase for up-and-coming girl group Young LA at the Soho House in Los Angeles on Friday night. The group tweeted about it, even taking a photo with Gomez. “Our girl the beautiful Selena @Selenagomez was front and centre last night for our first show! We love u…,” they wrote.

One of the ladies, Brooke Adams, also confirmed the sighting on Twitter, sharing, “No big deal.. Bieber and Gomez front seat at our first show. Musta been the music. <3"

A source tells Us Weekly that the possible reunion is just the latest chapter in Jelena. "It never ends," the insider says. "We'll see. It's such drama with them." According to the report, Gomez was spotted leaving Bieber's house Saturday morning, getting into a car with suitcases.

The couple sparked breakup rumors in November, but they seemed to reconcile shortly thereafter. Then they reportedly broke up again over the holidays while on vacation in Mexico — before once again inciting reunion rumors just this past weekend.

Up until recently, Gomez and Bieber had remained pretty tight-lipped about their reported split, until Bieber opened up to Billboard in an interview that took place before they were spotted together again. "I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been," he said. "I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going.

"There's so many rumors," he added. "People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories. I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely."

The magazine also confirmed that the track "Nothing Like Us," featured on his just-released, chart-topping Believe Acoustic album, is about the breakup.

Whatever may come of this latest reunion, Bieber and Gomez are both busy. He's set to hit New York this week to perform on "Saturday Night Live," and she's been busy in the studio, working on her 2013 album release.

Round two isn’t looking good for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez as the former Disney star is reportedly pissed that he’s spending time with model Barbara Palvin and it’s causing her to lose weight.

“Her up-and-down relationship with Justin Bieber is taking a toll and she [looks] thinner than ever,” a source told Life & Style magazine. “She isn’t eating because she has so much anxiety about Justin being faithful and doing right by her. Selena’s freaking out. She’s stressed about the fact that [Justin’s] added more tour dates and they’ll be apart for longer. She doesn’t trust him. Justin is on tour again and isn’t living up to his promises to Selena.”

According to the report, Selena apparently told Justin specifically what she wanted in order to make the relationship work, but doesn’t feel Biebs is taking her demands seriously. Selena also feels Barbara’s being a bit messy by tweeting pictures of she and Justin together and it’s possibly making her a bit jealous.

“Selena hates how braggy Barbara is about it all, wearing his shirts, tweeting from his locations, and following him all around.”

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, however, now that Biebs and Selena are back together, Justin isn’t holding anything back and he’s using Instagram to show the world how proud he is to call Selena his girl!

On December 25, Justin and Selena, 20, celebrated Christmas separately with their respective families. However, while they were apart, Selena was not far from Justin’s thoughts!

The 18-year-old pop star used his Instagram account to share a SEXY photo of Selena. There was no caption, but we can imagine what Justin wanted to say underneath the photo.

To be perfectly honest, we have no idea how this photo of Selena Gomez and Terry Richardson managed to fly under the online radar for a whole week because seriously, this is pure internet GOLD. Not to mention, kind of unexpected. From Lady Gaga to Rihanna to Jared Leto, the New York photographer’s roster of subjects reads like a who’s who of Hollywood’s A-list, but Selena has remained conspicuously absent from it all…until now, that is. Judging from the chummy Instagram above, the singer and Spring Breakers star stopped by Terry’s studio a week ago for a photoshoot. Matching in plaid shirt (the photog in his trademark lumberjack red and Selena working bright blue), the two look totally friendly and comfortable with each other— so who knows, maybe this was a long time coming? We’d normally assume that the duo teamed up for a photoshoot on Terry’s blog (like he’s done with Sky, Elle, and countless others). Selena Gomez is set to host an exclusive concert for UNICEF for the third time!

The 20-year-old singer will hit the stage to benefit programs that provide nutrition, clean water, medicine, education, and more to children worldwide on Saturday (January 19) at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

“2013 is a year of music for me and this is such a great way to kick it off. #Selenaunicef” she tweeted.

“Nothing is more important than helping children in need around the globe,” Selena said of the event. “I’m thankful that I can use my voice to bring awareness and much-needed funds to UNICEF so they can continue their critical work. Together, with my fans, we can save lives.”

The UNICEF ambassador reveals she will be spending Christmas with her family.
With the holiday season already underway and only weeks until Christmas, Selena Gomez luckily knows how she’s going to spend the remaining days of 2012. And, for those interested, it means lots and lots of family dinners.

“Honestly we just love being able to just be together as a family,” the singer/actress shared at the eighth Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City on Monday night. “Everybody travels, my grandfather travels, I travel. I’m always out. So just being together, telling stories, cooking, eating a lot, that’s usually what we do around the holidays.”

Gomez hit up the event, held at NYC’s famed Cipriani, as she and her maybe ex, Justin Bieber, continue to keep fans guessing about their relationship status. And until she spends the holidays with her family, she’s still got a few commitments to keep. That included attending the star-studded, splashy gala, which honored some of the folks closest to the charity and helped raise $2.5 million (according to Gomez’s Twitter). Gomez is a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF and was originally inspired to work with them by her fans, she shared.

“Well I’ve been working with UNICEF for the past five years now. They’re an organization that’s close to my heart. When I see the fans and we have live audience tapings and I see some of them maybe being sick, they’re the reason why I’m here,” she said. “If I’m able to do anything to give back to the families or the kids that help me every single day, kids hold a special place in my heart for that reason.”

In addition to Gomez, the night was also attended by a bevy of stars including Uma Thurman, “Girls” star Allison Williams, music legend Tony Bennett and her pal, Katy Perry. “The reason I’m here is I’m really excited to support UNICEF and bring even more light on the charity because if I can take the attention I have re-prioritize it for other people then I feel like I’m doing a better work,” Perry shared.
