The young pop princess is preparing to come out with her own signature Selena Gomez fragrance. The new scent should hit stores in the spring of 2012, although the final ingredients for the perfume are yet to be determined. In fact, fans of Selena can vote on what should go into the fragrance. The most popular notes will make it into the final product. Behind the scenes images of the photo shoot for the upcoming perfume show a romantic, wet, and sultry side of the young star, who looks enchanting in deep purples and plum.

In the photo shoot for her namesake fragrance at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood, Selena Gomez stands submerged in a tank of water. She wears a flirty, dark purple dress with flowing skirts and a strapless top. Raspberry tights and a silver sequined belt finish off the ethereal look. Soft blush, pink berry lip color, and eyes accented with black liner and mascara enhance the star’s face.
