The first two artists announced to be performing at Z100’s “Jingle Ball” are none other than Selena Gomez and Katy Perry. Whether the two will be collaborating again remains unclear.
The concert, which takes place on December 10th in Madison Square Garden, is a very well-known event. Z100 is a popular radio station in New York City, with their transmission tower located in the Empire State Building. With both performers currently hitting new plateaus in popularity, they make a very compelling headlining duo. The radio station releases a promotional photo for the event with unannounced acts shaded purple, to be unrecognizable. This of course fuels speculation about the remaining acts, the most noteworthy being about additional Disney Channel star Justin Bieber.
SELENA Gomez is frugal when it comes to clothes!
The teen superstar says she rarely buys anything priced over $20.
“When it comes to shopping I love a bargain,” she said.
“I don’t usually spend over the $20 mark. I feel so much better buying a top for $20 that isn’t so different from the one that costs $200.
“It’s really rare that I buy something expensive, and if I do, I think about it over and over before splashing out.
“When you see me on the red carpet, I’m usually in outfits that I’ve picked out and borrowed, and that I probably won’t wear a second time, so I give them back.
“Normally the outfits are too expensive for me to own anyway.”
Gomez, 18, recently admitted she rarely looks at her own schedule — because it’s too jam-packed!
“I don’t look at my schedule because I would freak out,” she said. “It looks like a lot on paper and it really is a lot. But it’s a whole lot of what I love.
“I just did a tour in Europe and it was really hectic. Every time I got in the car, I would ask my mom, ‘What’s next — fans or business?’”

Selena Gomez and “Wizards of Waverly Place” aren’t managing to stay away for very long. According to a new report from TV Guide, the popular Disney Channel series will kick off its fourth season on November 12, literally four weeks after the end of season three (which airs tonight).
As most of everyone knows at this point, season four is going to be the last for Gomez (and likely the show), though events will be wrapped up in a second TV movie that is scheduled to begin production at some point next year. Selena has said previously that it will be a “tearful” experience for her leaving the show she has known so well, particularly since it is also the program that made her a household name for many.
As for plot spoilers, we can’t say too much outside of the fact that a new 10-year old wizards will be joining the cast, and it will be someone with past Disney connections.
Are you happy for the short wait between seasons, or sad that everything will be coming to an end soon?
Disney darlings past and present are in the giving spirit this week! On Wednesday, a cheerful Miley Cyrus headed to a Los Angeles-area homeless shelter to donate ten bags of clothing to those in need. Now performer Selena Gomez is also doing her part for charity, having donated the ethereal Catherine Dean gown she wore in her music video “A Year Without the Rain” for auction.
Gomez told PeopleStyleWatch of the dress, “It was obviously a very important part of the video—we wanted it to be very beautiful and very flowy and I got so many great comments on it so I thought it would be awesome to give it to charity.”
The gown is available now through November 10 on Charitybuzz. Proceeds will aid UNICEF in its mission to help disadvantaged children worldwide.

Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus are both Disney Superstars. Selena Gomez have quietly over time won the hearts of many fans along with making her a family name. Parents encourage kids to follow on Selena’s footsteps.
Miley Cyrus on the other hand, had instant success at her feet with the hit series Hannah Montana. As Miley’s fan base grew so did her detractors. Miley Cyrus is going through the tough phase of growing up in front of everyone and make that transition from the little girl to a rock star with sex appeal.
And that is where parents are hitting a road bump. With every passing video of Miley Cyrus her approval in the parents community decreases. However, her fan base is as strong as ever. Both Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus have carved out their place in the entertainment world but one did it quietly while the other raised a storm.

Selena Gomez enjoys keeping in touch with her fans via sites like Facebook and Twitter, but finds social networking can be a “little scary”.
“I think the social networks are very important,” says the Naturally singer, who says she will cry when Wizards of Waverly Place ends next season.
“I think that being part of Facebook and MySpace and Twitter, all of those things, it’s really awesome.
“It’s a great way to stay in touch with your fans and let them know what you’re up to,” she shared with Hulu. “[But] It’s a little scary sometimes because it’s very personal.”
Revealing how she uses these kind of websites, Selena (who says her fans are amazing) explained: “I try to use it for what it’s there for. “I use it to remind my fans how much I appreciate them and how much I love and care about them, and what I’m doing and what I’m up to.
“And see how they’re doing, and what the response is. It’s very quick and it’s very instant.”
Selena Gomez has revealed she would love to work with Cheryl Cole, describing the Girls Aloud star as a “modern Britney Spears”.
The Wizards Of Waverly Place actress-singer is a fan of Cheryl’s solo music, including her current hit Promise This.
“My dream would be to work with Cheryl Cole – I love her, and would love to work with her,” she said.
Selena Gomez may only be 18, but the actress can already add singer, fashion designer and UNICEF ambassador to her CV.
